Be sure to explore between the highlights. The culture is as magical as the attractions. Monmartre early in the morning is beautiful, before the coach trips arrive! Head up rue lepic and arrive at the Sacre Coeur. Have fun!

I’m living in Paris for the past 10 years now. It’s a great city.
Panorama: climb up the Montparnasse tower for a great panorama of the city (including the Eiffel Tower), go to the roof of the malls the Printemps and Galleries Lafayette (ask for a 10% discount card at the information desk, just show your foreign passport).
Visit the flea markets (Saint Ouen and Porte de vanves but be careful of your belongings …).
Take the RER and check out Versailles castle.

We are staying near the Eiffel Tower and have booked a day tour to Versailles…

Take a trip on the Seine on the Bateaux Mouches! Walk across the Pont Alexandre III towards Les Invalides and visit Napoleons Tomb. Walk through the gardens Les Tuileries parallel to la rue de Rivoli to the Place de la Concorde and on up the Champs Elysée (the metro runs straight along this route too if you don’t want to walk it all)
My husband used to get sent to Paris for 2 and 3 weeks at a time, I went with him and spent my days wandering around, I’d move there in a heartbeat! Love the place! 😀

Hi Karen, I think we are having 2 trips on the Seine, one during the day and one at night to see the lights… I will make note of all the other places you suggested as well… Thank you…
